Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Red Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominique Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominique Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lange throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lange off to one side.
Lange closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brown circles away.

Red Lange seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lange escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Lange's temple.
