Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eric Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Martin Pierce!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frost shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Frost not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Frost drops back looking for a leg! Pierce is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pierce manages to kick Frost off! Frost jumps back into Pierce's guard.

Frost has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frost advances to half guard.

Pierce looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frost frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pierce looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pierce is trying desperately to improve position.
Frost is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Pierce is in real trouble.

Pierce is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Frost gets his way!

Pierce really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frost. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Frost is looking to control Pierce but Pierce is wriggling around and keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frost has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Pierce's body.

Frost has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Pierce is defending well but eventually Frost manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Pierce has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Eric Frost!
