Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Colby Taylor (ranked 101 p4p, 1224 weight class) and Caleb Jones (ranked 9 p4p, 87 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Colby Taylor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Caleb Jones!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jones under the eye.
Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A slow jab from Taylor misses its intended target.
Taylor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Taylor doesn't seem bothered though.
Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A swing and a miss from Jones.

Taylor drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Taylor on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Taylor.

Taylor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.
Taylor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Taylor has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

Taylor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
Taylor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
