Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Shewmaker (ranked 2605 p4p, 682 weight class) and Charlinho Motosserra (ranked 149 p4p, 49 weight class). Charlinho Motosserra told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henry Shewmaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charlinho Motosserra!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Motosserra with that takedown attempt.
Motosserra throws an overhand right that lands on Shewmaker's shoulder, as Shewmaker tries to avoid the shot.
Shewmaker throws a combination that misses
and Motosserra counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Shewmaker!
Shewmaker throws Motosserra to one side and escapes!
Shewmaker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Shewmaker throws a right hand that Motosserra ducks under and follows up with a left that Motosserra also avoids with ease.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shewmaker takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Henry Shewmaker has been cut.
Shewmaker misses with a double jab.
Motosserra drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Shewmaker defends it well.
Motosserra throws a lazy right hand but Shewmaker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Shewmaker displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Charlinho Motosserra has been cut.
Motosserra shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Shewmaker is trying to defend but Motosserra finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Shewmaker is trying to escape back to his feet but Motosserra uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Motosserra has an Americana. Shewmaker didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Motosserra is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Motosserra hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Charlinho Motosserra!
Charlinho Motosserra decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
