Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Francis Brooks (ranked 3297 p4p, 3216 weight class) and Danilo Zoric (ranked 336 p4p, 327 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks punishes Zoric's body with a nice straight punch.
Zoric looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brooks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zoric.
Brooks keeps the fight on the outside.
A jab from Brooks misses.
Zoric cracks Brooks with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Zoric tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zoric looks to score with a jab to the body but Brooks is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brooks misses with an uppercut. Zoric saw that one coming.
Zoric is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Brooks with a body shot.
Brooks steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zoric.

Zoric throws a hook but Brooks blocks it.
Zoric moves out of range as Brooks strikes.
Zoric looks to throw the jab but Brooks is out of range.

It looked like Brooks wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Brooks lands a big uppercut and Zoric crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zoric looks OK. Brooks waves Zoric back to his feet!

Zoric is rocked!

It looks like Danilo Zoric has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zoric is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Brooks doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Zoric crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Zoric's bad books for that mishap!
