Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, André Levesque!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Werewolf Night!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Steve Erwin and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levesque avoids the body shot from Night.
Levesque throws a lazy right hand but Night sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Levesque scores with a push kick.
Night looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And Levesque counters with a quick kick to the body but Night blocks it.
Levesque uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Night.
Levesque was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Night defending well as Levesque loads up on a big left hand.
Levesque cracks Night with an open hand slap.

It looks like Werewolf Night has been cut.
Nice jab there from Levesque.
Night looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Levesque uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Night.
Night blocks a jab.
Night doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Levesque steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Night.

Levesque closes the distance and pushes Night back into the cage.
Levesque swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Night is looking to break free of the clinch but Levesque has double underhooks.
Levesque misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Levesque lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Night is trying to break free.

Night breaks from the clinch.
Night misses with a lunging right hand
and Levesque cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Night lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Levesque thumps Night with a low kick.
Night scores with a nice right hand.

Night cracks Levesque with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Levesque looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Night finish him?

It looks like André Levesque has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Night avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Night throws a combination that misses
and Levesque counters with a low kick, right behind Night 's knee.
Levesque scores with a shot to the body.
Levesque keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Night.
Night throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Levesque to counter with a crisp jab.

That has opened up Werewolf Night's cut even more.
Levesque looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Levesque pushes Night up against the cage in a clinch.

Night breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Night works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Levesque cracks Night with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Levesque has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Night to stand back up!

Night is rocked!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Night crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Levesque - the referee stops the clock and Night gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Levesque. Night manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Night looks winded!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Levesque misses the shot to the body.
Night lands with an overhand left.
Levesque is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Night flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Night is out cold! Levesque holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). André Levesque!
A relieved looking André Levesque thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
