Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Masters (ranked 2462 p4p, 2408 weight class) and Moe Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moe Lester is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester wants to clinch.
Lester looks to land a right hand but Masters moved out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Masters misses the target.
Lester doesn't manage to clinch there - Masters circles away.
Lester throws a lazy uppercut
letting Masters counter with a right hand.

It looks like Moe Lester has been cut.
Lester connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Masters momentarily.
Masters looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Masters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Masters has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Masters sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lester is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The referee asks Masters politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Masters prefers to stall for the moment though.

Masters is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lester is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lester takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Masters tries to move to mount but Lester blocks the move with his legs.
The referee asks Masters politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Masters prefers to stall for the moment though.
Masters has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Moe Lester's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Moe Lester's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
