Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Francis (ranked 3932 p4p, 5613 weight class) and Shivaji Bhosle (ranked 397 p4p, 481 weight class). Francis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rest in Peace. Shivaji Bhosle will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis misses with a body shot
and Bhosle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bhosle.
Francis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bhosle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Francis throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bhosle counters with a nice body shot.
Bhosle fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Francis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bhosle counters with a nice body shot.
Francis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bhosle lands a nice hook to Francis's body. Francis takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Bhosle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Francis swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bhosle counters with a right hand to the body.
Bhosle misses with the combination.
Bhosle avoids the head kick by Francis.
Francis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Francis is rocked!
Jonny Francis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bhosle catches Francis napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Francis to the canvas!

Bhosle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bhosle's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Francis seems to have got his legs back now.
Bhosle is continuing to stall.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bhosle misses with a body shot.
Francis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bhosle misses with a few strikes there.
Francis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bhosle lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Francis scores with a one two! Bhosle had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Shivaji Bhosle has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Bhosle. Beautiful body shot.
Bhosle drops his hands momentarily and Francis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Francis takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Bhosle drops Francis with a left and a right! Oh, Francis is hurt - Bhosle dives into side control looking to finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bhosle just content to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Let's hope that Bhosle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bhosle moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Francis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bhosle works Francis's body with a nice hook.
Francis misses with a series of wild punches.
Bhosle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Bhosle counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Francis badly! He tries to strike back but Bhosle puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Francis out cold! Oh man, Francis will never hear the end of this one!
