The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charleston takes one to the chin there.
Temple looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Temple has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Charleston.
Temple throws a right hand that misses
and Charleston makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Temple really felt that one!
Temple throws a jab when Charleston was well out of range.

A big right from Temple misses.
Charleston raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Temple misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Temple swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Charleston let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Temple tests Charleston's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Temple looks to land a left hand but Charleston moved out of range nicely.
Charleston throws a shot from downtown. Temple moves away and avoids it.

Charleston works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Charleston throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Temple.

Temple shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Charleston napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Temple is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Charleston is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Charleston tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Temple is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Charleston has escaped the position, nice work there.
Charleston tries to bench press Temple off him but Temple keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Temple is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Charleston is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Charleston can't do much from the bottom here.
Temple connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Charleston some visible discomfort.
Temple tries to move into full mount but can't pass Charleston's legs.
Temple creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Charleston sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Charleston really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Temple. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Charleston tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Temple creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Temple seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Charleston does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Temple thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Charleston's head.

Charleston is bucking up trying to escape but Temple cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Temple cracks Charleston with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Temple lands a big elbow.
Temple is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Charleston can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Charleston is rocked!
Temple takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Charleston is still in real trouble! Can Temple finish him?
Charleston felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Whack. That's a big, big shot from Temple! Charleston is out cold! This one is all over!
