And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jari Sillanpaa!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sillanpaa.
Sillanpaa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sillanpaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sillanpaa throws a lazy head kick
and Sillanpaa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sillanpaa connects with a high kick.
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A left lands for Smith.
Smith looks to throw a body kick
and Sillanpaa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sillanpaa throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Sillanpaa.
Smith throws the kick towards the body but Sillanpaa avoids it.
Sillanpaa was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sillanpaa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sillanpaa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sillanpaa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Smith connects with a high kick.
Smith lands with an uppercut that bounces Sillanpaa off the cage and back into range.
Sillanpaa is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith lands a brutal uppercut that launches Sillanpaa off his feet! Sillanpaa tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
