Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bethania Valverde (ranked 653 p4p, 843 weight class) and James King (ranked 58 p4p, 67 weight class). Valverde comes into the arena with LLAMAME YA blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bethania Valverde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, James King!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valverde moves out of range as King strikes.
Valverde was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
King looking to land some kicks to the body here.
King dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Valverde. That did some damage!
Valverde misses with a looping right.
King throws a jab when Valverde was well out of range.
Valverde scores with a nice strike.
Valverde takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
King takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Valverde takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A low kick lands for King.
Valverde is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Valverde throws a lazy right hand but King sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
King throws a right hand that misses
and Valverde counters with a three punch combo that has King backing up. King nods at Valverde to acknowledge the strikes.
King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Valverde was well out of range. Poor timing from King.
Valverde throws a shot to the body.
King lands a nice hook to Valverde's body. Valverde takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Valverde moves forwards but King connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King slips under a jab from Valverde.
Valverde loads up on a big right hand but King slips the punch.

Valverde throws a body punch but King moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by King.
King looks like he wants to counter punch here.

King fakes the leg kick and cracks Valverde in the body.

Valverde connects with a body shot that sends King's belly button to the back.
King scores with a kick to the midsection.
King misses with a leg kick.
King moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Valverde looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King lands a jab to Valverde's midsection.
Valverde has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Valverde is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
King takes one to the chin there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Valverde.
King is rocked!
King gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
