Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manny Manny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and G R (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Manny Manny has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manny throws a hook to the side of R's head but R sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Manny moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Manny misses with the combination.
Manny keeps the fight on the outside.
Manny misses with a wild combination.
R moves forwards but Manny connects with a nice, crisp jab.
R ducks under a wild hook from Manny.
A combination from Manny does no damage.

Manny loads up on a big right hand but R slips the punch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from R.
Manny swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Manny crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from R - the referee stops the clock and Manny gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says R. Manny manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

R moves into the clinch.
R is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Manny pulls him back up using the underhooks.
R is trying to drag Manny to the mat but Manny just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Manny is trying to break the clinch but R has him pressed against the cage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

R rushes Manny and presses him up against the cage.
R keeps control of Manny as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

and R counters with a single leg into guard. Manny didn't expect that.
Manny is looking to stand up but R isn't so interested in that idea.

R in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and R counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
R wants to take a breather but Manny is having none of it.
Manny tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Manny has hold of R's hands but R slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Manny is trying to stand up here but R is controlling him well.
R throws a strike but Manny avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

R shoots in looking for a takedown. Manny tries to sprawl out of it but R keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Manny manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

G R showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as R accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
