Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diego Compton (ranked 4099 p4p, 5304 weight class) and Emperor Odin (ranked 243 p4p, 285 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Compton doesn't seem bothered though.
Compton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Odin misses with a double jab

and Compton counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Compton.
Compton stalling against the ropes.

Compton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Compton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Odin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Compton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Odin, up you get!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Compton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Odin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Odin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Odin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Compton's head backwards.
Odin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Compton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Compton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Odin wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Odin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Compton defends it easily.

Odin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Compton is aware though and is defending well.
Compton wants to control from the top but Odin keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Odin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Compton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Compton postures up and lands a big shot to Odin's brow.

Odin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Compton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Odin is tightening it up a little... Compton has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Compton reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Compton taps out! Nice BJJ there by Odin!
