Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 23752 p4p, 23748 weight class) and Kugus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 63 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 34 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga looks for a takedown but Salvacion sprawls well.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Amiga is defended easily by Salvacion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amiga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amiga wants it to stay on the feet.

Amiga drives through with a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Salvacion wants to improve his position but instead Amiga has moved into half guard.

Salvacion has control of Amiga's left arm, preventing Amiga from doing any damage.

Amiga wants to control from the top but Salvacion keeps moving.

Amiga is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kugus Amiga dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Salvacion looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Salvacion has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Amiga is proving hard to escape from.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Amiga has Salvacion pulled in close to control his posture.
Salvacion's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Amiga wants to improve his position but instead Salvacion has moved into half guard.

Amiga is doing well to control the position and prevent Salvacion from advancing to side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Salvacion tries for a takedown but Amiga circles away easily
and Amiga finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Amiga shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Let's hope that Amiga has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Salvacion has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Amiga is working away from the top position though.

A close second round but Kugus Amiga will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Both fighters circling a little - Salvacion finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Amiga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salvacion's guard.

Salvacion controls Amiga momentarily but Amiga frees himself.

Amiga stays in close to Salvacion's body and controls the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Amiga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amiga wants it to stay on the feet.
Amiga steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Salvacion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amiga struggling a bit here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Amiga has one of Salvacion's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Clifford Val Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kugus Amiga is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Amiga wants to control but Salvacion postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Kugus Amiga.
Well Amiga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
