Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Francis Brooks (ranked 5034 p4p, 5030 weight class) and Jan Claude Van Damme (ranked 468 p4p, 467 weight class). Van Damme has chosen Wai khru ram muay as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jan Claude Van Damme!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Damme moves out of range of the strikes.
A head kick from Van Damme lands but Brooks takes it in his stride.
Brooks blocks the body kick.
Brooks takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Van Damme is looking to chop away at Brooks's legs.
Brooks avoids the head kick by Van Damme.
Brooks sizes up Van Damme with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Van Damme fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brooks.
Van Damme throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
That kick from Van Damme tenderised Brooks's leg. Brooks is trying to keep his angry face on.
Van Damme throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Brooks swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Van Damme ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brooks moves out of range as Van Damme throws a body kick.

Brooks throws a jab but it's blocked by Van Damme.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Van Damme slips under a jab.
A bone on bone clash there as Brooks blocks the leg kick.
Brooks clobbers Van Damme with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Jan Claude Van Damme has been cut.
Van Damme tries a head kick but it misses.
Van Damme throws a low kick but Brooks moves out of range easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Brooks misses the target.
Brooks cracks Van Damme with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Van Damme falls to his knees and Brooks doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
