The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CleaPain fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

CleaPain avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Pumpkins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with CleaPain, pushing him back against the cage.

It looks like Gregor CleaPain has been cut.
CleaPain has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pumpkins after a bit of a struggle.
CleaPain has a couple of punches blocked by Pumpkins.
CleaPain swings wildly with an uppercut but Pumpkins uses good head movement to avoid it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pumpkins creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
CleaPain wants to take the fight to the mat but Pumpkins manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Carl Pumpkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gregor CleaPain.
