The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustafsson throws a head kick but Van Camp moves out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Van Camp blocks the leg kick.
Van Camp lands a front kick.
Gustafsson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Van Camp.
Gustafsson throws a hook to the side of Van Camp's head but Van Camp sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A low kick from Gustafsson is predictable there
and Van Camp counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Van Camp looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gustafsson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Van Camp.
As Gustafsson backs off Van Camp throws a huge counter combo but Gustafsson manages to avoid it all.
Gustafsson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

and Van Camp makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Gustafsson really felt that one!
Gustafsson tries to score with a low kick but Van Camp moves his leg out of the way.

Van Camp fakes the leg kick and cracks Gustafsson in the body.
Gustafsson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Van Camp throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Gustafsson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
