Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Westlake (ranked 3607 p4p, 5923 weight class) and Max Gunn (ranked 371 p4p, 461 weight class). Westlake comes to the cage accompanied by Tek It (Sped Up). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Westlake looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Westlake tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gunn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Gunn tries to get to full guard but Westlake has control of the leg.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gunn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Westlake has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Westlake and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Westlake jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gunn walks away with a smile on his face. Westlake gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Westlake shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gunn's guard.
Gunn is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Westlake dives into side control.

Gunn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gunn is looking to escape but he's done so without protecting himself and Westlake manages to counter with a nice rear naked choke! Gunn is in trouble and he's forced to tap!

A relieved looking Tyler Westlake thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
