Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eduardo Chavez!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simcoe scores with a jab to the head.
Chavez on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Simcoe lands with a hook. Chavez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Chavez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Simcoe drives through with a takedown into Chavez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Chavez looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Chavez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Simcoe wants to pass the guard but Chavez is keeping the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Simcoe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Simcoe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Chavez wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Chavez is trying to keep Simcoe in close.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chavez is on top in guard.
Simcoe controls Chavez momentarily but Chavez frees himself.
Simcoe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chavez on the ground.

Simcoe wants to sweep here but Chavez controlling him for the moment.
Chavez works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Chavez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Simcoe defends it well.
Simcoe wants to improve his position but Chavez is controlling well.
Chavez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Chavez goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Simcoe turns into him and now he's in Chavez's guard.

Chavez quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Simcoe has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Chavez celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
