The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Myers moves into range and clinches up with Williams.

Myers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Myers throws a combination. Williams tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like John Williams has been cut.
Myers shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Myers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Williams misses with a wild combination.
Myers throws out a counter right but Williams avoids it with no problem.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Myers has managed to clinch.
Myers can't get the takedown.
Myers tries to circle away but Williams has him pinned against the cage.

Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Myers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Williams to keep the fight standing.
John Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cade Myers.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Cade Myers has been cut.
Myers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Myers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Myers tries to sprawl but Williams drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Williams decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Williams drives through and clinches with Myers against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Myers misses with an uppercut
and Williams counters with a left and a right... And another left! Myers is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

John Williams tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
