Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butch Frewin (ranked 117 p4p, 495 weight class) and Beau Abner (ranked 13 p4p, 34 weight class). Frewin comes into the arena with Billy the Squid's Water Pistol by The Neptunas blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Butch Frewin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Beau Abner!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Topper Green and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abner tries to bum rush Frewin with a series of wild strikes but Frewin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beau Abner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frewin throws an off balance right hand
and Abner counters with a nice leg kick.
Frewin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Abner doesn't seem bothered though.
Frewin lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Abner looks for the body kick but Frewin saw that one coming.
Abner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
As Abner looks to move away, Frewin throws a big counter combo but Abner just gets out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abner uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Frewin has time to react.
Abner misses with a body shot
and Frewin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Abner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Frewin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Frewin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Crunch! Abner slams his shin into Frewin's torso.
Abner swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Frewin.
Abner throws the left hand but Frewin avoids the punch easily.
Frewin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at House of 1000 Corpses in the buildup to the fight.
A lazy body kick from Abner
and Frewin counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Beau Abner has been cut.
Abner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Abner shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Abner throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Abner lands with a shot to the body.
Abner scores with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Frewin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Abner misses with a short punch on the inside.

Frewin manages to break the clinch.

Abner takes the fight into the clinch.
Abner softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Abner swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Abner tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Frewin prevents a body shot from Abner.
Abner lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Frewin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Abner looking to land some kicks to the body here.
No joy there for Abner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Frewin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Abner misses with a leg kick
and Abner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Abner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Frewin.
Abner connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Frewin out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Beau Abner!

During a confident post fight interview, Beau Abner thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Butch Frewin stepped up to the mic, saying 'What in tarnation!'.
