PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Halvorsen (ranked 1979 p4p, 1957 weight class) and Aziz Mehamedov (ranked 225 p4p, 223 weight class). Adrian Halvorsen had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halvorsen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mehamedov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Mehamedov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Mehamedov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Halvorsen has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mehamedov is looking to defend but Halvorsen has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mehamedov! Halvorsen pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mehamedov taps out and this one is all over!
