Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 24 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Emperor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Nolan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emperor does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nolan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Emperor works Nolan's body with a nice hook.
Nolan throws a head kick but Emperor moves out of range.
Nolan with a lazy takedown attempt
and Emperor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Emperor lands a right hook to the body.
Emperor takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nolan misses with a two punch combination.
Nolan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Emperor counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Nolan looks winded!
Emperor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nolan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nolan wants to clinch but Emperor slips to the side
and Emperor counters with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Emperor lands an uppercut, right on the button! Nolan tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fedor Emperor!
