And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bunny Anstey!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Turnik - just one landing.
Turnik uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anstey.
A big left from Turnik misses.
Turnik swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Anstey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Boban Turnik has been cut.

Turnik is looking to stand back up but Anstey counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Turnik.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Anstey working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Turnik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anstey on the ground.

Turnik wants to control but Anstey is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Turnik is looking to improve his position but Anstey isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
