Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diogo Jimenez (ranked 320 p4p, 279 weight class) and Charles Eric Cheese (ranked 46 p4p, 37 weight class). Cheese has chosen The Midnight NAMBLA as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheese bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jimenez throws a shot to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cheese has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Cheese is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jimenez is looking to control Cheese's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jimenez avoid being mounted?

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cheese perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Diogo Jimenez will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Oh Jimenez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Cheese counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Jimenez out cold! What a finish! Cheese is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
