Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Bird (ranked 1741 p4p, 2842 weight class) and Siaka Aya (ranked 211 p4p, 322 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bird might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dragula - Rob Zombie. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Bird.
Bird takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A punch combination from Aya misses.
Aya avoids the body shot from Bird.
Aya looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A slow jab from Aya misses its intended target.
Bird is looking to counter punch.
Aya misses with an uppercut. Bird saw that one coming.
Aya will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bird lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Siaka Aya has been cut.
Aya blocks a head kick by Bird.
Aya is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bird.
Bird swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
No joy there for Aya, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aya throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The crowd cheers as Aya lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bird doesn't seem phased though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bird throws a body shot but no joy.
Bird loads up on a big right hand but Aya slips the punch.
Bird takes one on the button.
Bird tries a head kick but it misses.
Bird is looking to land body kicks.
Aya lands a jab to the head.

Bird dips to his left and cracks Aya with an uppercut!
Bird misses with a hook. Aya ducked under it nicely.

Aya tries to bum rush Bird with a series of wild strikes but Bird uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bird cracks Aya with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bird throws out a loose jab but Aya uses good head movement to avoid it.

Aya throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bird sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bird rushes Aya and presses him up against the cage.

Bird tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A left hand lands to the body for Bird.
Aya lands a hook to the side of the head.
Aya throws a head punch that misses.
Aya misses with the head strike.
Bird scores with a shot to the side of Aya's head.
Aya avoids the elbow strike from Bird, against the cage.

Aya breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A big right from Aya misses.
Aya fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
An attempted straight right counter from Bird misses the target.
Bird throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Bird clinches up with Aya and pushes him back against the cage.

Aya's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
