Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Francisco Pinto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erceg leaves Pinto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Erceg throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pinto.
Pinto is looking to clinch but Erceg is avoiding it.
Pinto shoots for a takedown but Erceg saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Erceg lands a body shot.

Pinto gets the takedown into side control.
Pinto happy to just control the position for now.

Pinto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Erceg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Erceg is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pinto is controlling him well.

Erceg sneaks out the side door and pushes Pinto away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Erceg misses with a straight right.

Pinto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Erceg!
Erceg is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pinto is controlling him well.
Erceg dodges the ground and pound from Pinto.
Pinto tries to advance to mount but can't.
Pinto throws a strike aimed at the side of Erceg's head but Erceg avoids it well.

Pinto is working to tighten his grip on Erceg's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Erceg has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pinto is really squeezing tight and eventually Erceg passes out! Pinto breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
