The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Me keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carmelo Suarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suarez throws a right hand that Me ducks under and follows up with a left that Me also avoids with ease.
Suarez misses with a looping left.
Me tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Suarez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Me lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Suarez moves out of range as Me strikes.

Me looks to score with a jab to the body but Suarez is just out of range.
