The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Ojo.
Ojo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ojo.
Ojo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Leonov Jr on the side of the head.
Obi Ojo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leonov Jr slips a straight right by Ojo.
It looked like Leonov Jr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ojo misses with a body shot.
Ojo throws a body punch but Leonov Jr moves out of range.
Leonov Jr swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Leonov Jr takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A right-left combo lands from Ojo.
Ojo misses with a lunging right hand
and Leonov Jr counters with a stiff right hand.
Leonov Jr takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ojo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Leonov Jr.
Leonov Jr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Ojo counters with a crisp one two that drops Leonov Jr! Ojo thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Leonov Jr to his feet! Leonov Jr is in big trouble!

It looks like Vadim Leonov Jr has been cut.

Ojo knocks out Leonov Jr with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Ojo before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Ojo picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Obi Ojo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
