Adams comes to the cage accompanied by No Noncesense. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Callum Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcel Thibodeaux!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux wants to clinch
and Thibodeaux takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Thibodeaux uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Adams.

Adams lands a big head kick that sends Thibodeaux tumbling to the mat! Adams takes a step backwards and waves Thibodeaux back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Marcel Thibodeaux has been cut.
Adams throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thibodeaux throws a fast counter high kick but Adams manages to duck under it in time.
Adams lands with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adams misses with a straight left.
Thibodeaux unleashes a big counter combination but Adams bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Adams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been told by Adams's head coaches at Shut Up & Train! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Adams shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Thibodeaux eats them both and turns towards Adams to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Thibodeaux throws a sloppy head kick and Adams moves out of range easily.
Thibodeaux just misses with a punch to the body.
Adams swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Thibodeaux fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Adams misses the target.
A head kick by Thibodeaux misses

and Adams counters with a nice right hand that sends Thibodeaux toppling to the canvas! Thibodeaux scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Adams finish him?!

Adams sends Thibodeaux crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Adams is motioning to the referee to let Thibodeaux up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Thibodeaux is rocked!

Thibodeaux tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thibodeaux misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Adams steps in with a hook that catches Thibodeaux right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Adams follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Thibodeaux looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Callum Adams!
An out of breath Callum Adams thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
