Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lou Gotch!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotch stuffs the takedown attempt from Alopodis. Alopodis gets slowly back to his feet.

Gotch bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Alopodis is looking for a sweep.
Alopodis wants to control but Gotch postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alopodis manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Gotch prevents Alopodis from improving his position.
Gotch not doing much here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alopodis is trying to get back to full guard.

Alopodis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Alopodis wants to sweep here but Gotch controlling him for the moment.
Gotch trying to control the position from guard on top but Alopodis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gotch wants to control from the top but Alopodis keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ceph Alopodis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Alopodis with a poor takedown
and Gotch counters with a straight right hand.
Alopodis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gotch pinned against the cage. Gotch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ceph Alopodis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gotch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Alopodis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gotch tries to avoid it but Alopodis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gotch to the ground. Gotch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alopodis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gotch avoids it really well and circles away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gotch shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alopodis eats them both and turns towards Gotch to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lou Gotch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gotch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
