Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hideyoshi Yamasaki (ranked 1837 p4p, 3548 weight class) and John Cosman (ranked 233 p4p, 396 weight class). Yamasaki comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - Only God Can Judge Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cosman. Yamasaki does a little dance to reset his feet.

Yamasaki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cosman misses with a double jab.

Cosman throws a right hand that Yamasaki ducks under and follows up with a left that Yamasaki also avoids with ease.

The fighters circle momentarily. Cosman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Yamasaki scores with the left hand. Cosman knows he should have avoided that one.
Cosman cracks Yamasaki with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Cosman moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cosman moves forwards but Yamasaki connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Yamasaki misses with an uppercut.
Cosman wants to clinch up but Yamasaki keeps it at a distance.
John Cosman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cosman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Yamasaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Oh Yamasaki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Yamasaki has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Cosman closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Yamasaki! Cosman dives in looking to finish! Yamasaki is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
