Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Manu (ranked 1803 p4p, 1529 weight class) and Tobias Berge (ranked 83 p4p, 191 weight class). Manu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome to the Opera - Anyma & Grimes. The key to victory for Nicky Manu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicky Manu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tobias Berge!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berge scores with a takedown into Manu's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Berge wants to free his trapped foot but Manu is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Let's hope that Berge has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Berge is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Manu has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Manu!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Berge swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Berge seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Tobias Berge showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Berge shoots in for a double leg but Manu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
As Berge looks to move away, Manu throws a big counter combo but Berge just gets out of the way.

Manu was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Manu tries a head kick but it misses.
Berge ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Manu moves away.

As Berge looks to move away, Manu throws a big counter combo but Berge just gets out of the way.

and Manu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Manu has had enough of the clinch but Berge keeps him there for the moment.
Berge keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Manu's efforts to push away.
Berge has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Manu uses from the top position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nicky Manu.
I think Berge has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Tobias Berge was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
