Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Dias (ranked 1624 p4p, 4768 weight class) and Hasbulla Magomedov (ranked 118 p4p, 291 weight class). Magomedov has chosen Roy Jones Jr - Can't be Touched as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Dias!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hasbulla Magomedov!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov fails with the takedown.

and Dias counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dias tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Magomedov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dias is fending him off so far but Magomedov persists. Nope, Dias circles away and we're back to standing.

Magomedov's coach down at ubergym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Magomedov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magomedov goes for a double leg but Dias avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dias continues to drive forward.
Dias appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dias will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

This one could be over very soon! Dias goes limp - he's gone! Magomedov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
