Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yamuza Akimocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Torquato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torquato is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hollywood Undead - Undead. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akimocha fails with the takedown.
Torquato drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Akimocha really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Torquato manages to capitalize on a mistake by Akimocha to take his back!
Akimocha can't escape the position.
Torquato has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Akimocha's body.

Akimocha is looking to improve his position but Torquato isn't that keen on the idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Akimocha moves into full guard.
Torquato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Akimocha swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Akimocha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Torquato gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Torquato is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Torquato is pushing down on Akimocha's leg trying to pass to half guard. Akimocha is fighting to maintain full guard but Torquato has managed to sneak the leg through.

Akimocha wants to control but Torquato is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Torquato is keen to just control but Akimocha is a slippery customer.

Bruno Torquato showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

A punch lands to the side of Torquato 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Akimocha throws a hook but Torquato avoids it easily.
Akimocha lands with a nice body punch.
Yamuza Akimocha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Akimocha scores with a nice right hand.

Torquato drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Akimocha tries to buck Torquato off but Torquato is having none of it.

Akimocha is looking for a sweep.
Torquato controlling from side mount.
Torquato wants to lay and pray for a moment but Akimocha keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Torquato gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Akimocha fails to pull guard.
Akimocha is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Torquato gets control of Akimocha's arms and successfully pulls guard. Torquato will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Torquato had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Akimocha is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Torquato Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Akimocha's back instead.
Torquato takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Torquato is hanging on to Akimocha's back as he tries to escape.
Akimocha manages to reverse the position and now he's in Torquato's guard. Nice work there by Akimocha.
Akimocha wants to pass the guard but Torquato is keeping the position.

Akimocha wants to stand but Torquato is controlling his posture from full guard.
Akimocha looking to sit in guard and control but Torquato gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Torquato drops back looking for a leg! Akimocha is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Akimocha manages to kick Torquato off! Torquato jumps back into Akimocha's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Torquato counters with a nice double leg into side control. Akimocha won't be happy with that.
