Beckley tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dwayne King seems to be getting the better of the standup.

King has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Beckley.

Beckley has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but King regains guard immediately.
Beckley is standing up over King. King looks to escape but Beckley dives into side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Beckley decides to stand back up.
Beckley tries to close the distance and clinch up but King swats him away and circles back towards the center.
King is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Beckley with a body shot.
King closes the distance and lands a one-two.
