Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pinarus Inventius (ranked 4167 p4p, 4406 weight class) and Konstanty Stokowski (ranked 0 p4p, 455 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stokowski misses with a low kick as Inventius jumps back.
Stokowski lands a nice shot that snaps Inventius's head back.

It looks like Pinarus Inventius has been cut.
Stokowski scores with a hook to the body. Inventius takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Stokowski lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Inventius tests Stokowski's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Stokowski turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Inventius gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Stokowski tries to break the clinch but Inventius is controlling the position.
Inventius tries for a takedown. No joy.
Inventius misses with the head strike.
Inventius tries a body shot but Stokowski blocks it.

Stokowski is trying to maintain a safe position but Inventius gets an underhook and turns Stokowski into the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Stokowski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Inventius blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Inventius has Stokowski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stokowski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pinarus Inventius. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Inventius is on top in guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Inventius sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stokowski's guard.

Stokowski is defending against the submission attempts here by Inventius.
Stokowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Inventius. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Inventius is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stokowski is just riding it out for now. Inventius eventually gives up the hold.
Inventius passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Stokowski!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Inventius looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Inventius wants to finish this one by submission but Stokowski is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Inventius.

Inventius working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Stokowski stops Inventius from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Konstanty Stokowski will probably get the nod.

Inventius has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Stokowski throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Stokowski cracks Inventius with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Stokowski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Inventius to stand back up!

Inventius is rocked!

Pinarus Inventius's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Inventius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Konstanty Stokowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stokowski fakes the body blow, causing Inventius to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Inventius goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
