Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rockwell Mcgee (ranked 693 p4p, 1079 weight class) and Sambo Sam (ranked 93 p4p, 134 weight class). Mcgee comes to the cage accompanied by No More Hot Dogs. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Sambo Sam enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rockwell Mcgee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Sambo Sam!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sam shoots in but no luck this time.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sam has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sam throws a leg kick
and Mcgee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Sambo Sam has been cut.
Mcgee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mcgee missing with a left hand there. Sam was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sam misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mcgee.
Mcgee is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Mcgee lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sam misses with a takedown attempt
and Mcgee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sam shoots in but no luck this time.
Rockwell Mcgee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sambo Sam.
Sam misses with a body shot.
Sam motions for Mcgee to come forward. Sam throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mcgee is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sam fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mcgee throws a quick counter head kick but Sam was just out of range.
Mcgee lands a left and a right that send Sam crashing to the mat, dazed. Mcgee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sam is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nice takedown defense from Mcgee. No joy for Sam on that attempt.

Sam gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mcgee counters with a low kick, right behind Sam 's knee.
Sam looks winded!
Mcgee moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mcgee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sam misses with a body punch
and Mcgee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It looked like Mcgee was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sam.
Danga de danga de dang - Sam scores with a four punch combination!
Sam shoots in for a takedown but Mcgee shows good takedown defense.
Sam misses with a shot to the body
and Mcgee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Sam takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sam is still on wobbly legs! Can Mcgee finish him?
Mcgee lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sam is looking to close the distance but Mcgee sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sam crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sam is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Rockwell Mcgee!
In his post fight interview, Rockwell Mcgee gave a big smile as he said 'I’ve got something to say to my wife: Wash them toes, baby, ‘cause daddy’s comin’ home!'.
