The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reese goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Key closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Turk Key is winning the standup battle so far.

It looks like Rhys Reese has been cut.
Reese with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Key to score with a decent uppercut.

Rhys Reese is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Key drops Reese with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Reese! Key dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
