The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hassan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hassan takes one to the side of the head.
Hassan throws a shot from downtown. King moves away and avoids it.
King avoids the body shot from Hassan.
Hassan moves away from the strike by King.
Hassan throws a low kick but King avoids it.

and King counters with a three punch combo that has Hassan backing up. Hassan nods at King to acknowledge the strikes.
King takes a swing at Hassan's ribcage but misses.
King lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hassan takes a step back to recover.

Hassan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

King's corner calls for a 1-2. King obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
King needs to keep his hands up - Hassan had a free shot at his head there.

King lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hassan takes a step back to recover.
James King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King thuds his shin into the meat of Hassan's side.

King cracks Hassan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

King moves out of range of the strikes.
King takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hassan misses with a right hand
and King counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
King throws out a powerful jab.
A slow jab from King misses its intended target.
King scores with the left hand. Hassan knows he should have avoided that one.
King jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A little feinted left hand from Hassan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hassan missing with a left hand there. King was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
King goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Hassan lands with a good body shot.
Hassan swings for the body but King moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hassan lands a really nice looking cross but King seems unphased.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but James King will probably get the nod.

Abduwali Hassan really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Stoner's Killer Apparel logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
