The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcala checks the leg kick nicely there.
We've been told by Sasaki's head coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Alcala looks to land a body kick but Sasaki moved away.
Sasaki looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Alcala throws a shot from downtown. Sasaki moves away and avoids it.
Alcala throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sasaki sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Alcala flicks out a counter leg kick but Sasaki steps away.

Sasaki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Sasaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Alcala gets tackled into the cage by Sasaki. Sasaki maintains the clinch.

Sasaki tries to throw a body punch but Alcala avoids it by throwing Sasaki back against the cage.

Alcala lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sasaki backwards.
Sasaki digs a right hand into Alcala's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Alcala's gas tank.

Sasaki pushes Alcala against the cage. Sasaki is working some dirty boxing. Sasaki pushes off with a quick right hook! Alcala goes down! Alcala tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Sasaki moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
