The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes tries for a takedown but Cassidy circles away easily

and Cassidy counters with a crisp one two that drops Hughes! Cassidy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hughes to his feet! Hughes is in big trouble!
Cassidy stuffs the takedown attempt from Hughes. Hughes gets slowly back to his feet.
