Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sparky Anderson (ranked 1017 p4p, 560 weight class) and Rock Romero (ranked 143 p4p, 79 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Pick up man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson moves out of range as Romero strikes.

Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Romero .

Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Romero swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That was a close round but I would say that Sparky Anderson will probably get the nod.

Anderson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Romero sprawls well initially but Anderson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Anderson seems content to control.
Anderson uses his free foot to push down on Romero 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Romero .
Anderson is looking to work his way around to Romero 's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Anderson has the hooks in. Romero is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Romero is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Romero lands a big right hand that sends Anderson crashing to the mat! Romero stays standing though and waves Anderson back to his feet!

Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Anderson walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Anderson limp body while Romero jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
