The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maui tries to clinch there but Wilson circles away.
Maui stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maui wants it to stay on the feet.
Maui connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wilson's hands.

It looks like The Wilson has been cut.
Wilson throws an overhand right that lands on Maui's shoulder, as Maui tries to avoid the shot.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown but Maui shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wilson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wilson shoots in but Maui avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Maui blocks a jab.
Nice takedown defense from Maui. No joy for Wilson on that attempt.
Maui swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Maui takes the fight into the clinch.
Wilson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Maui prevents it.

Maui pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Maui fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilson, pushing him back against the cage.
Maui tries to throw a body punch but Wilson avoids it by throwing Maui back against the cage.

Maui breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maui looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Maui fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wilson shoots in and drives through. Maui sprawls well.
Wilson misses the shot to the body.
Maui drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Wilson's head, knocking him out cold! Maui is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
