Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Moore (ranked 2000 p4p, 3001 weight class) and Klaus Manfred (ranked 293 p4p, 400 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Peyton Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Klaus Manfred!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Manfred counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Moore has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Manfred is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Moore gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Manfred.
Manfred wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Manfred has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A relieved looking Klaus Manfred thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
