The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamma shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dick's guard.
Mamma is stalling in the full guard.
Dick wants to sweep but no luck.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dick working for a triangle but Mamma defends it easily.

Dick escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mamma gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dick will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Our spies down at at Cozad MMA London inform us that Dick has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Mamma slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dick is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Dick throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mamma was covering up waiting for the punch and Dick finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dick throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mamma works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dick postures up in Mamma's guard and throws a big left but Mamma blocks it.

Dick drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Dick as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Mamma screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Dick! Nice submission victory there!
