Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emelia Kooldfish (ranked 2544 p4p, 2535 weight class) and Cactus Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kooldfish kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dirty Needle Project! by Tom MacDonald & Adam Calhoun. Cactus Jack has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cactus Jack!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack tries for a takedown but Kooldfish circles away easily
and Kooldfish connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jack isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kooldfish stacks Jack on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kooldfish!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jack is looking to improve his position but Kooldfish isn't that keen on the idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jack drops back looking for a leg! Kooldfish is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kooldfish manages to kick Jack off! Jack jumps back into Kooldfish's guard.

Jack is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kooldfish is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kooldfish has escaped and now he's on top!

Jack has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kooldfish can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Kooldfish counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Jack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kooldfish swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jack is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

In his post fight interview, Emelia Kooldfish gave a big smile as he said 'I'm so unselfish and so virtuous that I want to dedicate this fight to someone not white. Because I AM A GOOD PERSON DONT YOU GET IT?!!!! And yeah, like, Love will save us all, except certain pigments I guess. I think that's what CNN told me to think...'.
