And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veal scores with a head kick. Wolford tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Rodney Wolford has been cut.
Veal misses with a head kick.
Wolford gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wolford looks to score with a jab to the body but Veal is just out of range.
Wolford scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Veal misses the jab.
Veal keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wolford.
Veal lands a nice shot to the body.
Wolford looks to throw the jab but Veal is out of range.
Veal gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Wolford counters with a takedown into side control.

Veal is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Wolford connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Veal some visible discomfort.
Wolford wants to control but Veal is keeping him busy.
Wolford cracks Veal with a big elbow.
Wolford is looking to take a break and control but Veal is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Veal is trying to control Wolford's posture but Wolford avoids it.

We've been hearing that Wolford has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Wolford looks up at the clock and then as Veal takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wolford smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Veal is looking to regain half guard here but Wolford keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wolford scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Veal to see if he's OK.

Veal tries to improve position but can't.
Wolford scores with a couple of short elbows.
Veal is looking to reverse the position.
Wolford is putting a hurting on Veal here, landing some big shots from side control.
Veal is rocked!

Wolford scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Veal is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Wolford can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
