Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Darwin Budluvski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastion Lynar!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budluvski misses with a kick to the body.
Budluvski attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Budluvski punishes Lynar's body with a nice straight punch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lynar.
Lynar taking a breather here.
Lynar is looking to take a break and control but Budluvski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Budluvski wants to get back to his feet but Lynar drags him back down.

Lynar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Budluvski, who protects the arm well.

Lynar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lynar prevents Budluvski from escaping the position.
Budluvski trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Lynar has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Lynar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Budluvski turns into him and now he's in Lynar's guard.

Lynar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lynar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Budluvski tries to stand but Lynar is controlling from the bottom.

Budluvski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lynar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Budluvski has managed to get both his arms back between Lynar's legs - danger averted.
Budluvski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lynar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Budluvski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Budluvski wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Lynar's closed guard. He's half up but Lynar has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Lynar pivots and extends the arm, Budluvski falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Lynar! Well done that man!

Sebastion Lynar tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
