The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jewish scores with a leg kick.

Jewish swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've been informed that Jewish has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jewish fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Llewellyn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jewish can do anything to dispel that myth.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that AJ Llewellyn will probably get the nod.

Llewellyn is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Llewellyn goes for a double leg but Jewish avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jewish continues to drive forward.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jewish throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

As Jewish tries to get set, Llewellyn tries to push him back and clinch up but Jewish manages to avoid the attempt.
